Arthur Gordon Pym is the Usher family's enigmatic undefeated lawyer who remains an unfailingly loyal employee and enforcer for the Ushers. Regardless of the task, he's the "no questions asked" kind of fella.

Biography[]

Arthur Pym is the lawyer and "fixer" for the usher family. He a quiet and harsh man who often takes control of what the family says to the press and public and defends the actions of their company. Little Is revealed about Pym until the end of the show when Rodderick Usher sits to explain that not only is Pym the best lawyer they could possibly ever hire, Pointing out that instead of sending a whole investigation team to find Verna it simply took one person - Arthur.

Rodderick goes on to explain that Pym partook in an expedition around the world when he was only 25 and had seen many things that made him the way he is. Rodderick says Pym often told the children stories and he was never sure how much was true because Arthur would never disclose the whole story. Rodderick mentions that he could have possibly taken part in cannibalism and other crimes upon his travels and he wouldn't have been surprised. It is unclear how long he has worked for the Usher family but he has been loyal to them and dedicated his time to protecting the family and their secrets to the point he is trusted in the room when important discussions take place.

Arthur appears in every episode of the show as the silent and ever watching lawyer to guide the family. He defends the family in the case against Fortunato and guides them on how to answer the press. he is often seen in dark clothing keeping to the side of family meetings or important discussions. it is clear he has gotten the family out of tight spaces and throughout the show it is clear the family are thankful for his loyalty.
