Trivia

• Much like majority of the show's characters, her name and death are a direct reference to Edgar Allan Poe's works. Her death is inspired by The Murders in the Rue Morgue, as two women, Madame L'Espanaye and her daughter Camille, die after being mauled by an orangutan, although it was a chimpanzee for the show's counterpart. She also dies in the laboratory nicknamed "R.U.E. Morgue".
• Each of the six Usher children die in a differently colored room, a reference to the seven rooms, each of a different color, present in The Masque of the Red Death. For Camille, it's white.
