Prospero "Perry" Usher is the youngest of the Usher children, who only recently found himself thrust into the life of the ultra-rich. Rather than inventing new medical tools or running the family business, he seeks to make life one big party through his family's money.

Biography[]

Prospero was first conceived when his father, Roderick Usher had sexual intercourse with a blackjack dealer in Cannes. He was likely raised by a single mother until at the young age of 16, when he discovered his true lineage and met his fabulously wealthy father.

As with all the other Usher children, he was welcomed into the Usher household with open arms by his father. He was taught that being an Usher meant changing the world. And he was taught many lessons (such as The Golden Rule "Whoever has the gold makes the rule") except for exactly how to change the world. While all the other children had time to fantasize on how to change the world and had influences in their lives (such as Victorine's mother who was a nurse) , Prospero was just a teenager who was thrust into the life of the abundantly wealthy. He became a party boy who squandered his share of the family's wealth on parties and orgies.

This lead to him becoming the black sheep of the family. The other Ushers regarded him as an idiot, didn't like him, or just straight up hated him. Especially, his eldest brother, Frederick Usher. Who openly despised him. All except for his other brother, Napoleon Usher. Who was close with him and offered him inspirational words of advice.

Personality[]

After becoming a part of the rich Usher family, he became very spoiled.

Trivia[]

  • Prospero's name and death come from The Masque of the Red Death, in which a prince named Prospero, to escape a plague known as "The Red Death", hides in his abbey with other nobles, where he throws a masquerade. A strange figure disguised as a "Red Death victim", dressed in a red funeral cloak, enters through each room. Prospero dies after confronting them, and his guests all die as well.
  • In the story, there are seven rooms, each of a different color. This is reflected in the way each character dies within the show, with a certain color attributed to each of them. Prospero's color is red.
